Pathway 5
An opportunity to combine several elements from our current offerings, where students can choose to opt for an A-level plus a BTEC or combine a BTEC with a DP subject. Or, as some students have done, choose all three! This is a rare selection at WSO but is a bespoke offering we offer our students. We believe this flexibility and innovative structure will cater better for the passions and future pathway of all students who choose to stay or join our Post-16 student body here at WSO.

For those students who wish to focus on a specific career and study pathway, the IBCP (International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme) is a professionally focused, university-recognised programme.

A-Level
This pathway offers students an opportunity to specialise in four subjects at Post-16. Students choose A-level because they are already clear about the tertiary pathway they wish to follow.

BTEC
BTEC stands for the Business and Technology Education Council; they are specialist work-related qualifications, combining practical learning with subject and theory content.
