Kirsty Curry

I am delighted to be Assistant Principal at WSO. I am passionate about fostering student success and creating an individual story for every child in their own educational journey. I feel incredibly fortunate to be working with dedicated and talented leaders and teachers in an Academy which is dedicated to providing a personalised journey for every child.

My academic journey includes graduating with a BSc Hons in Geography and pursuing a PGCE, which marked the beginning of my career as a Geography Teacher in the North West of England. Joining WSO in 2019, I brought with me a wealth of experience gained from various Academic and Pastoral middle leadership roles both in the United Kingdom and internationally.

I firmly believe that true success extends beyond academic achievements, within my role I ensure an inclusive and innovative educational approach to extra-curricular activities which develop 'world-class, world-ready' students. As a parent myself, I believe that education is a holistic endeavor and I look forward to collaborating with the entire WSO community to continually translate our vision into reality. Together, we will nurture not only academic excellence but also the overall well-being and growth of every student.
