Ian Larkin

My name is Ian Larkin, and I have taught in Key Stage 2 since graduating in 2013. I joined WSO in September 2018, and it has been brilliant to be a part of such a distinguished school. I am passionate about providing unique and innovative experiences for our students and the community.

Prior to joining WSO, I trained as a teacher in Leeds in the UK. Before training as a teacher, I lived and worked in Perth, Western Australia. Living and working overseas has developed my understanding of different cultures. I very much enjoy my role as Assistant Principal, leading a great team of dedicated, innovative, and enthusiastic teachers in Years 5 and 6. I firmly believe all students are unique and deserve an inspiring educational environment where they can grow. I strive to create an environment where students can achieve academic success, live a life full of opportunity and flourish to become confident, independent learners.
