Jemma Arnold

I moved to Dubai and WSO in August 2015 after teaching at three Secondary schools in Northamptonshire, UK.

Providing my students with the tools needed to develop a passion for English is of huge importance to me, and when they are able to share in my love for Head of Onyx House I am lucky to interact with students on a daily basis outside of the classroom too, and my passion lies in developing young people and helping them to advance their skills of communication, compassion and responsibility.

In this technologically driven world we live in, I place an emphasis on teaching our students to slow down and partake in mindful practice, with research suggesting that such practice can accelerate social and emotional learning.
