Being Primary Principal at WSO is more than a role, it’s a journey of purpose, passion, and immense pride.  At WSO, no two days are ever the same. One moment, I am privileged to see FS1 students discovering their first words; the next, I'm watching Year 6 leaders present confidently to their peers. The energy, ambition, and spirit that flow through our Academy are extraordinary. Our students are curious, compassionate, and courageous, and it is our role to nurture, challenge, and celebrate them every step of the way.  I am incredibly proud of the holistic education we offer, from our enquiry-driven curriculum and specialist enrichment programmes to our award-winning Inclusion Hub and outstanding pastoral care. We believe in educating the whole child: fostering not only academic excellence, but resilience, wellbeing, leadership, and creativity.  What makes WSO truly special is the sense of belonging. Every child, parent, and staff member is part of a family — one that champions Unity, Aspiration, and Integrity at its core.  Being part of the WSO journey is inspiring. It’s about building futures, shaping dreams, and empowering every learner to thrive, both in school and beyond.  Experience it for yourself by scheduling a personalised tour with myself or other members of our dedicated leadership team today.  Mike Stewart  Primary Principal – GEMS Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis  October 2025 #### [A Night to Remember at Dubai Opera](https://www.gemswellingtonacademy-dso.com/en/wso-blog/a-night-to-remember-at-dubai-opera) In June 2025, over 300 talented GEMS Performing Arts students took to the stage alongside 10 West End Stars for an unfor..
