As Primary Principal of GEMS Wellington Academy - Silicon Oasis, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our thriving and supportive community - where every child is inspired to grow, achieve, and thrive in the heart of Dubai.

Outdoor learning
At WSO, Outdoor Learning is more than exploration, it’s a foundation for resilience, independence, and creativity. Our Forest School approach, delivered by recognised, qualified specialists, transforms the natural environment into a living classroom where children build problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence. Regular outdoor experiences from FS1 upwards, help students connect with nature, tackle practical challenges such as: tool craft, survival skills and a study of local flora and fauna. Outdoor Learning develops a spirit of enquiry beyond traditional classroom boundaries.
Performing Arts
Performing Arts at WSO is a vibrant journey from FS1, inspiring confidence, creativity, and self-expression. As a recognised centre of excellence, we are proudly partnered with industry leaders such as UDO, Urdang International, and The West End Stage. Our students thrive in music, dance, drama, and performance opportunities, building skills that last a lifetime and showcasing their talents across both school and professional stages.
Sports
WSO Primary offers a dynamic and inclusive sports programme designed to inspire participation and excellence. Students enjoy a wide choice of activities, with development squads, elite teams, and ‘come and play’ opportunities across a range of sports. Our Sports Leadership pathway empowers older students to mentor and lead, building teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong love of healthy competition.
Enrichment
Enrichment is fully embedded into the school day at WSO, ensuring every student can pursue passions beyond the classroom without barriers. From coding and robotics to art, sport, and entrepreneurship, activities are inclusive, diverse, and inspiring.
