Belle Wagner

Primary Vice Principal,
Curriculum and Professional Development

Hello, my name is Belle Wagner and I am a Vice Principal at WSO. I have been at WSO since 2011 and lead on Curriculum, Learning Skills and Professional Development.

I am from Wagga Wagga, a small town in NSW, Australia. I graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Masters in Education (specialising in Early Childhood Education and Leadership). Throughout my years of teaching, I have worked in Australia, England and Dubai. My international experience has provided me with the skills to lead and empower a team within a multicultural setting as well as allowing me to consolidate my knowledge of how children best learn.

In my role as Vice Principal I am proud to play a strategic role in taking our curriculum beyond outstanding. Working alongside our talented curriculum coordinators, we aim to maintain the innovative WSO educational program designed to ensure learning is deeply relevant to our students and inclusive of thinking critically. We thrive on facilitating outstanding quality and responsiveness in teaching, learning and curriculum design and delivery, with a key focus on equipping students with the competences and confidence to be truly ready to embrace the 21st Century.

Outside the classroom, my personal hobbies include sport, fitness, travel and spending time with my family, especially my husband and son. In addition, I have been fortunate to live in a variety of countries rich in culture, including Australia, Brazil, England and Dubai - lending itself to my love for travel.
